I’ve done some sexual harassment cases. And some employment work (though not with the kind of frequency as to make me comfortable calling myself an employment lawyer).
I’ve watched defense lawyers employ more and more vile tactics over the years. While courts fail to intervene.
I still enjoy it.

I tell my clients that litigation is like surgery. Except it takes north of 18 months and I can’t prescribe pain killers.
Litigation is a terrible way to resolve disputes. It’s just better than all the other things we’ve come up with.
But if it weren’t for people who enjoy it…
