And THIS is exactly why Rationalism is a complete failure in ethics. Its the same "miss trees, only sees forest" failure Singer exhibits with shittiness towards disability. Its willingness to expediency and ignorance of the hard moral part of an issue to favour some "clever hack" generalization.
