pretty much - and CNC isn't *that* common as a kink, and takes a lot of work and communication to do at all, and even more to do well. So that it seems to be super-localised to one industry is kinda suspicious, where it seems likely a lot of them want something other than good kinky sex

yup - if they want to get into fetish stuff, fair enough, but this is not the way and is just going to end badly, especially when it's overlapping with work groups/hierarchies (and a lot of the guys are going to be *rancid* with their own egos and self-importance).
