This behavior is clearly SA if done between two long term partners who regularly engage in this exact play. While it would be difficult to prosecute in most jurisdictions, it is still nevertheless flatly illegal The idea of blanket consent by all people at a party/event to such inherently dangerous

types of play is a self contradiction. Even if you knew for a stone cold fact everyone there was deeply experienced in this play and enthusiastically contented to it numerous times before, it just cannot be done between any two new-to-each-other people without individual and detailed consent.

The people who played with the demon core like a casual toy didn’t exactly have great adherence to less immediately dangerous safety considerations either. I view this description of the gaslighting thing as saying “we have exactly zero respect for the demon core, it can only good happen”
