My experiences with them have been that they are often nice, overeager, and lacking in social awareness, but not generally predators. Lumping them in seems unnecessary.

I mean 'culturally weird' as in 'I am fascinated by and do not understand their culture'. I have no issue with swingers, and though we seem to have quite different values and priorities, I think they're interesting
