Yi Peng 3 is still stationary but Y311 HDMS Søløven is moving towards her at moderate speed. Y311 Søløven is a specialized dive-vessel, equipped for deep sea works and mine clearance. It is interesting how both DK and SE navies are utilizing mine vessels.

Søløven is on station. Hard to say what is going on for certain but Yi Peng 3 aint going anywhere. I am leaving this station. Good night.

Last update. Yi Peng 3 is anchored. Just a few hundred meters north of Danish border. She has started making the arch anchored ships make, could not tell for certain before that. Drifting looks similar in low winds.

Is there any cables there too?

It was stopped by the Danish Navy vessels and is most likely being detained.

Check out “HMS Hvidbjørnen” - another Danish navy vessel is now en route to the spot where Yi Peng has come to a halt.

Yes, definitely looks like Hvidbjørnen is joining the party.

I think Søløven simply relieved P525 which is now heading for Frederikshavn (navy port) at ~20KN.

www.gp.se/nyheter/sver... Göteborgsposten uppdaterade för några minuter sedan sin artikel om kabelbrottet med att peka ut fartyget, väldigt lite ytterligare info så troligtvis någon där son hänger på x eller här på den blå

Minesweepers are very suitable to get a high definition sonar image of the seabed, and also have very good ROV to look at items found. Normally mines, but can be used for different applications. Many areas have been searched before, so they can compare previous images also.

None that I found. There were some German I believe P3’s over incident spots and her track, early today.

Why the mine vessels? Are they better at spotting what's going on under the surface?

mine sweepers can find the cable cutter if it has been dumped...

'moderate speed'? Max. speed is about 17 knots and she is doing 16+

Mine vessels have excellent sonars and often remote operated underwater robots.

Interestingly the Norwegians have a ship that's sitting not far away blocking the exit.
