Yeah reasonable. Ships are supposed to be insured, they can take it from insurance.

Legal view on it from a few years ago. I speculated above that it's probably hard to bring a successful case but I'm not really involved in the vessel management side. Just the equipment design. bsky.app/profile/shuf...
