I work in the banking/finance world鈥nd while I鈥檓 not going to say it鈥檚 always great鈥 have never anything like this in the 15 years I鈥檝e worked in it. Does pressure for sex happen? Yeah of course, but not on such an鈥nstitutional (industrial?) scale. This is just鈥ild.

And just reference, my company effectively put a rule in place that any after work gathering of employees (even just a group at happy hour after work), the most senior level employee is responsible for whatever happens and is required to report problematic behavior.

And when I say problematic I mean harassment like stuff (non-sexual included). Doesn鈥檛 necessarily prevent stuff from happening but it puts some (mostly perceived) liability on people that should know better.

I鈥檓 trying to imagine this happening in any other industry. I guess Hollywood was like this until metoo and probably still is in some corners. But this would be a scandal that would empty out whole C suites in other industries
